Start with what you want from your time
You do not need to know the name of a technique before you book a massage. Think about whether you want a gentle, whole-body session or more focused attention on particular areas. That gives Jill a useful starting point; your preferences can be discussed when you arrive.
Pure Serenity offers one-on-one sessions with Jill Degenhardt, LMT in Buda, Texas. The style is a starting point for a conversation, rather than a fixed routine you have to fit into.
Relaxation: when you want a quieter pace
Relaxation, or Swedish massage, uses lighter, flowing strokes and a steady pace. It may be the style you have in mind if you want a whole-body session and time to unwind, rather than sustained attention on one particular spot.
It is also an approachable option for a first visit. You can ask for lighter or firmer pressure as you discover what you prefer. There is no expectation that you know your ideal pressure in advance.
Deep tissue: when you prefer focused work
Deep tissue sessions use slower, sustained pressure and concentrate on areas you discuss with Jill. If you want time spent on your shoulders, back, or another specific region, explain that at the beginning of the appointment.
The word deep is not an instruction to tolerate discomfort. Let Jill know if the pressure feels too strong, and ask for it to change whenever you need. Your feedback helps shape the session.
Prenatal and postnatal: a dedicated session
If you are pregnant or recently postpartum, choose the dedicated prenatal or postnatal service and let Jill know when booking. This gives you time to discuss positioning, comfort, and any information she needs before your appointment.
Share any concerns with your maternity care professional and Jill before scheduling. The prenatal service page explains the practice’s approach and booking considerations in more detail.
AromaTouch: an essential-oil addition
The doTERRA AromaTouch option at Pure Serenity is a 30-minute essential-oil add-on, listed at $30. It is distinct from choosing a longer signature massage. Check the service details and discuss scent preferences or sensitivities with Jill before adding it.
You can begin with a conversation
For signature massage, choose 60 minutes for $120, 90 minutes for $150, or 120 minutes for $200. The online service menu shows the available appointments. If you are uncertain about the booking options, call the practice before reserving your time.
You are welcome to say what you like, what you would rather skip, and what you hope to get from the appointment. You do not need a perfect answer before you arrive.
